Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using My Mantras ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

My Mantras is a platform for discovering and saving inspirational quotes, creating personal collections, and receiving personalized interpretations based on Human Design principles. The Service includes both free features (browsing quotes, creating collections) and paid features (AI-powered quote interpretations using credits).

3. Beta Status

The Service is currently in beta. Features may change, and occasional bugs or interruptions may occur. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we improve. Beta users receive complimentary credits to test the interpretation features.

4. User Accounts

Account creation requires a valid invite code during the beta period. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Maintaining the security of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Credits and Payments

Credits are used to access Human Design quote interpretations. One credit equals one interpretation.

Credit packages are processed securely through Stripe

Pricing

Current packages are 10 credits for €5 and 25 credits for €10

Validity

Purchased credits do not expire

Refunds

Unused credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no credits from that purchase have been used. Contact us at hello@mymantras.app to request a refund

Non-transferable

Credits cannot be transferred between accounts

6. Human Design Interpretations Disclaimer

Important: Human Design interpretations provided by this Service are for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. They:

• Do not constitute professional advice (psychological, medical, financial, legal, or otherwise)
• Are generated by artificial intelligence and may not be accurate
• Should not replace professional consultation or your own judgment
• Are based on the Human Design system, which is not scientifically validated

You acknowledge that you use these interpretations at your own discretion and risk.

7. User Content

You may create quotes, collections, and other content within the Service. You:

• Retain ownership of your original content
• Grant us a license to store and display your content within the Service
• Are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you submit
• Agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on others' rights

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and original content, is owned by My Mantras. Quotes displayed may be attributed to their original authors and are used for educational and inspirational purposes. If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact us at hello@mymantras.app.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Resell or redistribute credits or access to the Service
• Submit false or misleading information

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated interpretations
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. For EU consumers, this does not affect your statutory rights under the laws of your country of residence. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Portugal, unless you are an EU consumer entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may close your account.
